Birichino’s 2021 Enz Vineyard Pinot Noir is a engaging combination of fruit and notes of soil. It really tastes of a place. The low 13% abv helps to preserve a well-balanced palate feel. The aromatics are explosive – notes of black cherries and plum.
Enz Vineyard is the only vineyard within the little-known Lime Kiln Valley AVA of San Benito County. It is a unique remote site that is on the east slope of the Gabilan Range. The soils are of decomposed granite and limestone,which is rarely found in California.
