Truly a wine-geek wine here, the wines from Fronton are dominated by the grape Negrette. For this blend, the Negrette is blended with Gamay, Côt (Malbec), and Syrah. It acts much like a cru Beaujolais, the Gamay helps of course, though the Negrette is similarly light to medium weight with light tannins. Perfect for a weeknight roast chicken dinner.
