This is a great value for South African Chenin Blanc. The vines are around 25 years old, grown un-trellised (bush vines) and unirrigated, in soils of mostly Malmesbury Shale. They use only free-run juice for this expressive and vibrant light-bodied wine. On the palate, you get lots of stone fruit flavors and a snap of green apple. Try it with a veggie pie featuring chard and parmesan.
