Pajaru's Meridionale is a unique blend of three grapes from three different regions of Italy. Pajaru is owned by the De Cerchio family of Torre Zambra fame. Coming from estate owned vineyards, this unique wine is a blend of Nerello Mascalese from Sicily, Primitivo from Puglia and Montepulciano from Abruzzo. Fermented separately, the wine is blended together then aged in French and Slavonian oak for 18 months. It's a powerhouse red, drenched in black cherries, cocoa and peppery spice.
