The 2018 Pinot Noir is combination of three vineyards, one of which is the prestigious Spanish Springs in Edna Valley. Spanish Springs is less than 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The Pinot Noir is aged in oak barrel, with only 15% of it new for 10 months. Again the emphasis here is on the fruit, leaving the oak notes to stand in the background. Lots of pretty cherry fruit accented by baking spices.
