Pinot Auxerrois has the same ancestry as Chardonnay, and is thought to have originated in France’s Lorraine. It is seen by many as another type of Pinot Blanc, though it's a bit more complicated than that. In Alsace, Auxerrois is often blended with Pinot Blanc making for a light, versatile, easy to like white sipper. Saint-Remy's version is 100% Auxerrois and has a bit more body and richness than you'll find in a typical Pinot Blanc. Versatility being the key here, we suggest you try this with chicken satay, a lobster roll, or pork chops.
