Yields were excellent if variable with an average of right at 45 hl\/ha. While we didn't use whole clusters per se for the vinifications, we did add back from 20 to 40% of the stems that we had preselected.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eAu Champ Salomon\u003c\/em\u003e lies in the neighboring village of Couchey and is one of 14 lieux-dits belonging to Marsannay under consideration for the village’s first 1er Cru designations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are discreet notes of new oak in the aromas, with a dark fruited profile.
