The Montigny-Piel family has been cultivating vines in Orleans since 1635. The Orleans appellation is in the Loire, 80 miles south of Paris and at the same latitude as Chablis, which lies to the east. This Orleans blanc is made entirely from Chardonnay vines that are 35-years old. All tank fermented with delicate aromas of blossoms and a crisp, saline finish. Super with crabcakes!
