The Madia label may represent Torre Zambra’s entry-level of wines, though this Montepulciano Rosso is exceptional! There’s a lot of wine in this bottle, as its quality punches right through its price-point. It’s a chorus of red and purple fruit, herbs, spice and earth, which makes it a go-to for pastas and Mediterranean fare.

Mineral underpinnings add traction toward the close. This finishes with a staining of wild berry concentration and gently grippy tannins that frame the experience nicely."
