"The 2022 Opalie has one of the best aromatics amongst the dry Sauternes I tasted, with mineral-driven citrus fruit and flint emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with orange rind, tangerine, good substance and a tangy, quice-tinged finish. Very fine." - Neal Martin

We've been huge fans of this dry white from Chateau Coutet since the beginning, having carried their very first vintage, the 2010, back in 2012. The 2022 is as good a wine as they've made to date. Though it's mostly Sauvignon Blanc, the Semillon really comes through. A wine of richness, freshness, and minerality.
