Anne an Catherine Parent are the 12th generation at the family estate, and the first with women in charge! Back in 1787 Etienne Parent established a friendship and working partnership with a certain wine lover named Thomas Jefferson, then Minister to France, and the rest, as they say, is history. 7+ years along this 2016 is still quite youthful, as Corton often can (and should) be. Deeply flavored, lots of rich fruit and spice, still with a good firm tannic structure. Grand cru depth here. Patience required; patience rewarded.
