"The 2023 Pinot Noir Tattendorf was made from younger vines of French, German, Austrian, Swiss and Italian clones on calcareous, alluvial gravel with chernozem topsoil. Fermented with 10% whole bunches in stainless steel, this matured for a year in a large 3,000-liter oak barrel. A touch of reduction still colors the lively dark cherry on the nose. The palate is translucent, sinuous, light and slender. It has delicious crunch and aroma but no fat at all. This is a really beautiful, honest and fresh-faced Pinot Noir." Anne Krebiehl
