This is quite a historical wine, in that the Muga family made it the first commercial vintage produced after acquiring the famed Prado Enea site, and the building that would become their winery. The nomenclature on the bottle, merely "Crianza" is rather misleading. In fact, the wine comes in large part from Prado Enea itself, though there is no mention as such on the label. However, none other than Isaac Muga has confirmed that this is the case, and noted that 1969 was the first vintage to include Prado Enea on the label.
These bottles are part of the Zuberoa Jatextea collection, the celebrated Michelin-starred restaurant in San Sebastian that closed in 2022.
