Westhofen is a small village in the German region of Rheinhessen where for over three hundred years, Philipp Wittmann’s family has cultivated wine on the rolling limestone hills. Under the 100 Hills label, Philipp combines estate fruit with those from neighbors who also farm organically.
This Pinot Blanc is vinified dry from vines that average over 60 years of age!
Aged in half stainless steel tank and half in large, neutral wooden casks, this Pinot Blanc is a refreshingly invigorating white. Notes of chamomile tea, crunchy pear and white lily on the nose give way to lemony acidity and freshness on the palate.
