Markus and Liz Bokisch took a leap of faith and purchased their vineyard property in Lodi’s Clement Hill AVA thirty years ago, focusing on Spanish grape varieties. Their Albarino is a dead ringer for one from Spain’s Rias Baixas region. Low in alcohol with fresh, peachy aromas and a welcomed mineral finish. The 2023 won Double Gold at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition! It’s a lovely white to linger over pre-dinner, or an inspired choice for a sushi platter or other raw fish preparations like ceviche.
