Danielle Gillmore works with her father Francisco and husband Andres Sanchez to make some of Chile’s most exciting wines. Located in the Loncomilla Valley, they took century-old Pais vines and grafted over to a selection of Italian varietals, including this Aglianico. Fermented in steel and aged in barrel for 18 months, this is an absolutely, delicious red redolent of boysenberries and sour cherries. Medium-bodied, with lush tannins, this is an approachable, young wine. Try with Carne Asada or braised beef stews.
