From a single vineyard planted in 1960 and 1978, the Albino Rocca Dolcetto has a character and intensity that can only come from vines this old. It’s vibrant and juicy with a solid core of red/purple fruit made in a lighter, more traditional style.
Albino Rocca’s father Giacomo started in the wine business in the 1940s, selling grapes from family vineyards and eventually got around to making wine himself. Albino began working for the family business and founded the winery in the 1960s. Now run by his 3 granddaughters, Paola, Monica and Daniela, they continue the legacy of making honest wines featuring their prized terroirs.
