2024 August West Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

It’s all Pinot Noir, sourced from the Russian River Valley. 85% of the fruit comes from the Graham Family Vineyard and 15% from Morris Ranch. Both vineyards were harvested at the end  of September. Even though September was marked with a series of five heat waves, these two sites took their time ripening and provided excellent pinot.

Winemaker Ed Kurtzman is a lifer in the wine business. His gentlemanly demeanor and the connections he’s made during his career have provided him with opportunities to access fruit from some of California’s most prized vineyards. Up until 2025, Ed made his wine here in San Francisco, in the industrial area beneath Bernal Heights.

Its fruity nature makes it easy to sip on its own, and easy to pair with grilled meats or salmon, goat cheese and tomato tarts, and vegetable tangines.
