Montravel is located just outside the greater Bordeaux region, further up the Dordogne River. The vines growing here are planted to the same grapes as their prestigious neighbors. Named for their daughter, the Hecquets’ Marjolaine is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon finished in new French oak. Treat it like a white Bordeaux and pair it with your Hamachi crudo or sushi.
