2022 Chateau Cesseras Minervois Cru La Liviniere

Minervois is widely considered one of, if not the, top appellations for red wine in the Languedoc. The most prized vineyards come from the sub-appellation, Minervois La Liviniere. This Syrah forward wine is blended with Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan for added complexity and depth. Partially barrel-aged, this is a sultry, rich and dynamic red that is brimming with fruit, spice and dried summer herbs.

Chateau Cesseras has been in the same family since 1840. Headed up by Pierre-Andre Ournac, who was instrumental in pushing the quality of wine in the region, Chateau Cessaras is a true family affair. Pierre-Andre works along with his son and daughter, Camille and Fanely, and his nephew, Guillaume. Together they are making dynamic, value-driven wines of impeccable quality.
