How can you not fall in love with a wine whose name translates from the Occitan to mean “Love Potion?” A blend of Syrah with very old vine (80+ years) Carignan and Mourvedre, it is first aged in oak barrels and then rests in concrete vats before bottling. The wine is released only when deemed ready to drink. Dense black fruit, forest floor and black tea notes dominate. Great with stews and/or hearty fare!
50% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre, 20% Carignan.
