2023 Crous St. Martin Gigondas Les Espaliers

Crous St. Martin is a collaboration between Harry Bosmans, an exporter of Rhone Valley wines, and Eric Bonnet, winemaker at his family’s estate, Domaine Bastide de Saint Dominique in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. They source from several parcels, but mainly from vines growing at the foot of the craggy limestone, needle-shaped Dentelle de Montmirail. Primarily Grenache, with a smattering of Syrah and Mourvedre, aged in mostly stainless steel tanks with a small portion in used 228-liter oak casks, this is a bold, boisterous expression of Grenache.
