Balthazar’s Cote-du-Rhone is sourced from his 3 organically farmed hectares adjacent to Vinsobres. The 2023 is 60/40 Syrah and Grenache, and it’s a stunner! The aromas are clean and pure, red and black berry fruit mingling with cherry blossom, licorice and black pepper. The palate is rich and seamlessly balanced, with the spicy black fruit at its core. The long finish continues with all components firing together, framed by the wine’s fresh acidity and easy tannins.
