"The 2019 Larrivet Haut-Brion is terrific. Dark, fleshy and resonant in the glass. Wild cherry, tobacco, incense, leather, smoke and game all take shape in this potent wine. Franc top notes lend quite a bit of aromatic presence, but then again, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc make up most of the blend. Once again, Larrivet Haut-Brion is a classy, under the radar gem.
