Chateau Unang can trace its history back to 867, as it was then given to the bishop of Venasque by the King of Provence. It remained in the hands of bishops until the end of the 17th century. The current owners purchased the property in 2001 and have been certified as farming organic since 2013. This Ventoux Rouge is comprised of 65% Grenache, 30% Syrah and the rest Cinsault. Red berry fruit and earthy mineral notes are propped up by lively acidity leading to a clean, fruity finish. Try it with pizza.
