Thierry Boudinaud, our longtime pal in the southern Rhône, has outdone himself with his new cuvées. His Grange des Rouquette red is a juicy blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache from the VDP d’Oc. Thierry raises it in tank, preserving the aromas that give it a pure expression. It’s a medium-bodied, versatile red and can be enjoyed on its own, or with a hearty, simmering cassoulet.
