Laudemio is a very special type of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. To be part of the Laudemio consortium a grower must adhere to extremely high standards regarding farming and production, and must submit their oil to tastings to assure the very highest quality. There is great emphasis on terroir and authenticity, very much akin to the Special Club consortium in Champagne.
Please note that these bottles, from the 2023 harvest, have a "best by" date of 12/31/25 on them. The olive oil is superb, not simply still consumable, but absolutely delicious. We use this oil at home currently and can vouch for it. The oil has been well stored, and every bottle is inside closed cardboard packaging. The color, aroma, and flavor are in no way compromised by being past the best by date.
