"The 2024 Pinot Blanc was picked in the Leiwener Klostergarten, a gently sloping site where weathered slate is mixed with loam. Yields were restricted first by frost, then by intense sorting. This had skin contact for six hours and was fermented spontaneously in equal parts new Fuder, used Fuder and stainless steel. Aromatics of pear flesh are pure and almost like pear ice cream on the nose, with more air adding highlights of melon. The palate is smoothly textured but beautifully streamlined. The new Fuder only added creaminess. It is a most elegant Pinot Blanc with substance and finesse. (Bone-dry)" - Anne Krebiehl MW
