Peters has long been a benchmark for great Blanc de Blancs Champagne. This cuvée is based on the 2020 vintage, with reserve wine dating as far back as 1988, and is another in a long line of successes. The fruit is all from estate parcels in the villages of Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant, and Avize. Always a wine of charm and energy, it can be drunk with pleasure now, or aged for at least a decade in a cool cellar. A recent 90 pointer from Vinous' Antonio Galloni who calls it, "bright and nicely lifted, with gorgeous energy driving a core of citrus, mineral and floral notes."
